I feel as though the month of April is moving ahead at the speed of light! We spent the beginning of the month in Miami during Lyla’s spring break. We all had the most amazing time, ate wayyyyy too much food and pretty much alternated between visiting the pool and the beach.
We loved walking along the boardwalk and enjoying the breeze coming off of the ocean. 
Last week the girls and I tagged along with Wayne on a work trip. He was the one who suggested that we come along and I am so glad he did. We arrived on a Monday and flew out on a Friday. It was quick, but perfect! The weather was so lovely that we only had to bring light coats. San Francisco is a perfect winter destination with kids! Here are some of the highlights….
I always have the best intentions of having weekday adventures with the girls, but somehow it doesn’t happen as often as I like. Last week I decided it was about time that we had an adventure. I packed a picnic lunch, picked up Lyla from Kindergarten and headed for the Willis ( formerly Sears) Tower.
I have wanted to visit the skydeck with the girls for a while and when the forecast called for a clear sky we went for it!
