FIFTEEN: VENICE

I am still reeling from out trip this summer to Europe! I had the most amazing time with Wayne and the girls. I tend to get SUPER stressed with planning vacations because I want everything to go well. Traveling is a big investment, so I want to make sure that we get to have a great experience! Wayne was teasing me and calling me Rick Steves.

I have fond memories of visiting Venice when I was a child. I was seven the first time I went to Europe with my father and I recall the pigeons in St. Marks square. Today, it is outlawed to feed the pigeons, so there were no venders shaking birdseed to get all of the pigeons to land on your head for a picture, but the girls enjoyed chasing the pigeons regardless… And, of course we rode a gondola!

We had a lot of wonderful adventures during the day, but we also took time to go back to the apartment so that Sienna could take a nap and we could all recharge before going to dinner.
