Summer is over. School has officially begun! I always loved the start of school as a child. There is something about the excitement of a new class and meeting new friends and catching up with how everyones summer went.
This year Lyla is in first grade! I know…. already. This means she is actually there ALL day… Which means eating lunch at school! She was so excited. I was a nervous wreck, wondering would she eat anything?
Her day is so long, and I wanted her to know that I was thinking about her so I did the ultimate mom thing and put a note in her lunch/snack for a couple of days.
She is not full on reading yet, so I used icons to get my point across. I actually love how they turned out!
